576T SOCOM Adjustable PR Lanyard

Designed in conjunction with US SOCOM. For use as an adjustable length personal retention lanyard for Rappel Masters, Crew Chiefs and Riggers. Designed to connect to users' harness and to fixed surface or helo rappel point via unique aluminum snap hook or Ronstan 6200 quick release. Oversize quick release shackle allows the user to easily release from harness or belt in the event of an unplanned landing. Swedged release pin (SOCOM requirement) eliminates plunger pin from releasing in the event the retaining ring is broken. Quick-release shackle uses velcro to secure the release tab in place to lessen the chance of inadvertent release. The lanyard has an adjustable length using Yates adjustable daisy chain system and the adjuster buckle has a strength of 6 kN. The unique design still allows for ultimate lanyard strength of 15kn after the shock pack is fully deployed. Made in the USA 

Note: Quick release portion of lanyard can be made to not quick release by attaching a three stage auto locking carabiner to the base portion of the quick release and shown in the photo below.
