569-6300 HD Helo Personal Retention Lanyard w/Shock Stop

For use as a personal retention lanyard in a helicopter. Heavy-duty the snap shackle has a large diameter plunger which allows for much easier release while under full 300 lb load. Designed using the first all-black, nonreflective, oxide plated quick-release shackle made of stainless steel by Ronstan. Oversize quick release shackle allows the user to easily release from harness or belt in the event of an unplanned landing. Swedged release pin (SOCOM requirement) eliminates plunger pin from releasing in the event the retaining ring is broken. Retaining the split ring is safety TIG welded. Quick-release shackle uses velcro to secure the release tab in place to lessen the chance of inadvertent release. Built with mil-spec 5625 tubular webbing. Lanyard rated strength 3400 lbf. (15kN). Kong Tango double locking snap hook is classified by UL to meet NFPA 2500 standards and is T rated.

Yates SCREAMER Shock absorber added for energy absorption. In the event an activation force of 2.5 kN (600 lbs) is exerted on the lanyard during a fall the SCREAMER has the potential to absorb 2-3 kN of energy if fully activated (11 inches).

Note: Quick release portion of lanyard can be made to not quick release by attaching a three stage auto locking carabiner to the base portion of the quick release and shown in the photo below.
