Designed specifically for heli-rappel and short-haul and hoist operations with a single frontal attachment point. Color-coded webbing allows for easy and fast donning of the harness. Reflective tape is added to the front and back of the harness. This new substernal steel D ring attachment is the perfect balance point to allow a secure and comfortable attachment location while limiting unintentional inversion. The harness cannot be taken apart or chest separated from the seat portion. Same waist and leg padding system as standard 388 Heli-Ops Harness. Easily donned and adjustable for variations in clothing and user size by use of Stab-Lock quick connect buckle system on legs. The steel dorsal D ring is easily adjustable on the rear of the chest. 3600 lbs. personal retention lanyard D ring attachment located in the center rear of the waist pad. Shoulder straps are specially tailored to reduce chafing of the neck. Weight 3 lb. 15 oz. ARS (Air Rescue Systems has had recently been awarded certification by the FAA for the 338 harness to their stringent TSO-C167 standard). Because of the requirements by the FAA for certification to TSO-C167 all 338 harnesses must be purchased directly from Air Rescue Systems.
