Designed to allow easy and secure transfer of equipment to transmission towers during Short Haul Operations.
MoHook Short Haul Equipment System allows the transmission tower worker to efficiently short haul there Tool/Bolt/Grunt bags into towers. The MoHook System is attached to the Short Haul Grapple hook via a 3 ft. sling that is shackled to the MoHook. The rope used to attach the Equipment gear bags is BlueWater 1/2" Spec Static super low stretch characteristics (<3%). The 50 ft long line has 5 ISC RP203 rope grabs to allow gear bags to be positioned at any desirable interval along the rope. Two 3 ft slings 1/2" Spec Static are attached to the lower end of the line so to allow attachment a ladder to be short hauled in to the tower.
All equipment is marked with WLL/SWL limits. The Rope Grab is labeled 337 lbf (1.5kN) SWL. The MoHook and Spec Static rope is labeled 1575lbf. (7kN) SWL and and ASME B30.9-2014 Standard.
MoHook has stainless safety chain that can be attached after the hook is put in position on the Tower for added security.
