ArmorTech™ Technora

A new concept in rope, designed for high heat situations such as welding. Slag actually bounces off! The unique design of BlueWater’s Armor Tech rope also gives it excellent cut resistant properties, advantageous in rock scaling and construction applications. Essentially a rope in a rope, it is constructed by braiding a Technora
sheath over a kernmantle rope. Even after complete failure of the Technora sheath, the underlying rope still maintains its full strength. Models available certified to NFPA 1983/2006 ed. Light and General use.

Spec-Static™ (Low Elongation Polyester)

Constructed of 100% low elongation fibers. Static elongation is a very low 1.6% at 600 lb. load. Used when the need for low elongation is more important than the need for higher energy absorption such as haul systems, long rappels and highlines. LEP should not be used as a belay line. Certified to NFPA 1983/2006 edition.

Duration Thermal Stabilization (DTS) method produces dynamic ropes which yield
incomparable consistency. DTS allows for complete and even penetration of heat
used in the processing of yarns. This yields well-balanced, high performance, lightweight
ropes with excellent handling and durability characteristics. BlueWater
dynamic ropes are CE and UIAA certified.
Tactical Dynamic Climbing Rope Designed for lead climbing above a rigging point. This unique rope has many of the attributes of the best low stretch ropes, with the exceptional shock absorbing capabilities of a dynamic rope. New 40 carrier braid construction. These ropes have the highest UIAA fall rating in the world for their size. Constructed with a 40/60 ratio of sheath to core yarns, it yields a rope with abrasion resistance never before seen in a dynamic climbing rope. Standard spool length 200meters(660ft). Stock cut length is 65meters(220ft).
