Construction - 100% Nylon Sheath and Core utilizing Blue Water’s unique Duration Thermal Stabilization(DTS) method produces Dynamic ropes which yield incomparable consistency. DTS allows for complete and even penetration of heat used in the processing of yarns. What this gives you are well-balanced ropes with excellent handling and durability characteristics, coupled with light weight and high performance. BlueWater's “Double-Dry treatment” is applied to each individual fiber in sheath and core. This unique “Double-Dry treatment” which was initially developed to increases water repellency for extreme ice and alpine climbing also dramatically increase abrasion resistance. Unique 40 carrier braid technology enables us to design a rope that is lighter weight than traditional braides of simular size while having a substantially thicker rope sheath.
